Burgar's Boat Co is a family-owned boatbuilding business proudly located in the picturesque Coorong Quays on Hindmarsh Island, South Australia. We are dedicated to traditional wooden boat repairs, restoration, and maintenance, serving the Fleurieu Peninsula, Lower Murray regions, and beyond. Our skilled team of boatbuilders, shipwrights, and painters takes immense pride in preserving the heritage and craftsmanship of classic wooden boats, combining traditional methods with modern expertise.

Founded, owned, and operated by Jordy and Sarah Burgar, Burgar's Boat Co is built on a foundation of passion and dedication to the art of traditional boatbuilding. Jordy, a fully-qualified shipwright with over 15 years of experience in the timber and marine industries, brings extensive training and expertise in traditional boatbuilding to every project. 

At Burgar's Boat Co, we work on all types of wooden boats, from small dinghies to grand paddle steamers, tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of each vessel. With our facilities at Hindmarsh Island, we offer the flexibility to work both undercover in our fully equipped shed space or outdoors on the hardstand or wet berth. Depending on the project, we can also travel to other locations to carry out work.
