Facebook - Burgar's Boat Co

'JANILLIAN'

Classic sailing yacht ‘Janillian’, built by Searles of Port Adelaide in 1935. For this project we removed and replaced the teak decks and the 87-year-old cabin, completed caulking repairs and did a full repaint of the hull.

After her restoration, Janillian was awarded the Concours d'Elegance (aka Best Boat in Show) at the 2023 South Australian Wooden Boat Festival.

'HEBE'

PB Hebe went through a huge makeover with us between July 2021- May 2022.

After 3 slippings, we fixed major issues in her hull planking and ribbing, with some areas requiring refastening and recaulking. Half the original deck was replaced and the entire boat painted from the cabin down.

'BIANCA'

26' Halvorsen, 'Bianca'.

A major restoration project to remove and replace the original decks and have a big tidy up of the cabin. The cabin restoration included refastening, splining seams, replacing bulkheads and glassware and the removal/re-polishing of all hardware.
